The Mission of Manhattan
Playwrights, Inc. shall be to bring the works
of quality playwrights and composers who have met the
standards of the group to the attention of the public
as well as to provide a safe and comfortable environment
in order for participants to share their mutual struggles
encountered while in pursuit of artistic achievement.
This goal shall be achieved
through weekly workshop sessions; through the presentation
of festivals of short plays in the Fall and late Spring
and through a series of Staged Readings
and Backers Auditions throughout the
year.
